Mark Henderson and his Liquid Fire Team earned saltwater sport fishing's most coveted title at the final Yamaha Professional Kingfish Tournament event in Little River South Carolina.
Mark, Joshua, Crockett, and Charles Henderson, and Chris Waters did it without even catching a fish.
They had a 256.17 seven fish aggregate going into the event with a 28.51 drop fish, which with seas conditions what they were, would be hard to catch.
Alden Thornton's The A-Team, sitting in second place, did not catch a fish on day one. They needed a 23.93-pound king to take the lead and got one on the final day. It weighed 22.38. They missed the title by 1.53 pounds. They earned second place.
Forrest Taylor's That's My Dog earned third place with a seven fish aggregate of 247.30 while Conrad Lau's Koolau was fourth with 244.72 points.
Jack Penny's Pennywise Team jumped from seventh to pick up fifth. They had 243.62 overall points.
